The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has received royal prayers and a gift from the Oba (Eze Ogba) of Ogbaland in Rivers State, His Eminence, Barr. Nwachukwu Nnam Obuoha-Obi III.
Wike received the royal blessings during a visit to the monarch on Saturday as part of his ongoing consultations and engagements with political and traditional stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The visit forms part of the minister’s continued interactions with influential leaders and stakeholders, particularly in Rivers State, as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the next electoral cycle.
The monarch offered prayers for Wike and presented him with a gift during the visit, underscoring the traditional engagement between the FCT minister and the royal institution.
