Senator Titus Tartenger Zam, representing Benue North-West Senatorial District, has urged his supporters and constituents to vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, himself and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
Zam made the appeal on Wednesday during an empowerment training programme for youths, women and artisans organised by the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) in collaboration with his office at Sese Events Centre, Makurdi.
The senator commended President Tinubu for establishing four additional development commissions, describing the initiative as a strategic intervention to address developmental challenges and bridge gaps in areas where state and local governments have limited capacity to meet the needs of the people.
Speaking on his empowerment initiatives, Zam disclosed that he had organised three indoor and three public empowerment programmes to support different categories of constituents across his senatorial district.

He explained that the first public empowerment exercise was held at the Judges’ Quarters residence of Senator George Akume, while the second took place at Wanune Polytechnic, where support was extended to party executives, officials, youths and women.
According to him, the ongoing programme is primarily designed to benefit elderly men and women, alongside a number of young people.
Although he acknowledged the large number of people requiring assistance, Zam reaffirmed his commitment to implementing initiatives that would improve the livelihoods of his constituents.
Items lined up for distribution under the empowerment programme include motorcycles, sewing machines, grinding machines, water pumps and power tillers.
The distribution exercise is scheduled to take place at the Pastoral Centre, Makurdi, following the completion of the training programme.
The senator also praised Tinubu’s development and empowerment policies, saying such interventions were intended to provide economic support and relief to ordinary Nigerians.
He expressed appreciation to the elders and constituents who entrusted him with the responsibility of representing them at the National Assembly, urging them to remain committed to the collective development of the district.
Zam said continued electoral support would enable him to sustain his empowerment programmes and pursue further initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of his constituents.
The Chairman of the Senate Committee on the North Central Development Commission also commended the programme’s planning committee for what he described as its effective organisation, particularly in identifying beneficiaries and ensuring a careful selection process.
The senator was accompanied to the event by Hon. Sabastine Ugbu Jombu, a House of Assembly candidate for Gwer West State Constituency, and Prince Chile Matthew, PhD.
