The City Boy Movement is set to inaugurate its Kwara State chapter on Tuesday, as the group intensifies mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, scheduled for February.
The inauguration and Town Hall Meeting will hold at the Arca Santa Arena, Ilorin, from 10am, with delegates expected from the 16 local government areas of the state.
The event is expected to bring together stakeholders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), members of the public, partners, supporters and well-wishers.
In a statement, the organisers said preparations were in top gear for what they described as a befitting inaugural gathering to formally unveil the movement in Kwara State.
The statement added that the Town Hall Meeting would provide an opportunity for stakeholders and supporters to engage with the movement’s leadership on its objectives, programmes and activities ahead of the 2027 elections.
The City Boy Movement described itself as a grassroots platform open to individuals, groups, associations and partners committed to supporting President Tinubu’s second-term bid and advancing his ideals globally.
The inauguration comes about three months before the 2027 general elections, with the movement expected to use the occasion to strengthen its grassroots structure and mobilisation efforts across Kwara State
