Sister Priscilla Ifeoma Iwu, a member of the Daughters of Divine Love Congregation, has celebrated her 50th birthday anniversary with a colourful ceremony held on Sunday evening.
The celebration, which was marked with joy and thanksgiving, attracted family members, friends from the Igbo community, religious colleagues, parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Church One-Man Village and other well-wishers to Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The golden jubilee celebration featured a thanksgiving Mass, prayers, music, dancing and goodwill messages as guests gathered to honour Sr. Priscilla and thank God for the gift of five decades of life.
The occasion also provided an opportunity for family members, friends, parishioners and members of the religious community to celebrate her journey, dedication and contributions to the lives of those around her.
In their goodwill messages, guests described the 50th birthday milestone as an occasion worthy of thanksgiving, expressing gratitude to God for His faithfulness and for granting Sr. Priscilla the grace to attain the significant milestone.
They prayed for God’s continued guidance, strength, good health, peace and abundant blessings upon her as she begins another chapter of her life.
The celebrant, visibly elated, expressed appreciation to her family, parishioners, friends and well-wishers for honouring her with their presence, prayers, love and support.
She said the celebration was a reminder of God’s faithfulness throughout her life, expressing gratitude to everyone who had contributed to her journey and made the milestone memorable.
The event climaxed with the cutting of the birthday cake, photography sessions, music and further celebrations, as guests wished Sr. Priscilla Ifeoma Iwu many more years of happiness, peace, good health and fulfilment in God’s service.
