As part of activities marking the 30th anniversary of Nasarawa State, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule on Saturday commissioned several road projects across Wamba, Akwanga and Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Areas.
In Wamba LGA, Governor Sule commissioned the 1-kilometre Justice Lawal Musa Nagogo Road, a project executed by the Executive Chairman of Wamba Local Government Area, Hon. Ezekiel Musa Jagga.
The Governor also commissioned the 5.2-kilometre Akwanga Bypass, which connects Jos Road to Mada Hills, Ntsakpe and the Keffi Road Bypass.
The Abuja-Akwanga-Jos Bypass was named Late Damishi Luka Road in honour of the late former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State.
In Akwanga, Governor Sule commissioned another 1-kilometre township road, named Rev. Waya Avenue/Ezekiel Maichibi Street.
The project was executed by the Chairman of Akwanga Local Government Area and ALGON Chairman, Hon. Safiyanu Isa Andaha.
While in Akwanga, Governor Sule inspected the ongoing construction of the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH), Akwanga, to assess the progress of work on the project.
The Governor also commissioned the Mallam Ya’u Street road project in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area.
The project was executed by the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Iliya Ibn-Aliyu.
The commissioning of the projects formed part of activities marking 30 years of the creation of Nasarawa State.
