Oke-Ode Community Applauds Gov AbdulRazaq’s Recognition as Sardauna Of Ilorin

The Oke-Ode Community Development Association (OCDA) has congratulated the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on his turbanning as the Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari.

National President of the association, Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Ajala-Bello, described the conferment of the traditional title as a well-deserved honour for a worthy son of the emirate who, according to him, has distinguished himself through patriotism and commitment to community and human capital development.

Ajala-Bello stated this in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen by the association’s National Public Relations Officer, Chief Ganiyu Kunle Akogun, on Tuesday.

He commended AbdulRazaq’s leadership of Kwara State, saying his administration had recorded significant developments across the state since assuming office more than seven years ago.

The OCDA president particularly praised the governor’s rural development initiatives, describing them as “unprecedented in the annals of the state.”

He said the recognition of AbdulRazaq as Sardauna of the Ilorin Emirate reflected his contributions to the development of the state and the emirate.

Ajala-Bello wished the governor a peaceful and successful tenure as Sardauna, noting that the title connotes a bulwark or defender of the emirate.
