Dr Onyema Mobilises Nigerians for Tinubu’s Re-election in 2027 as TRAG unveils strategies

The National Publicity Secretary of the Tinubu Re-election Action Group (TRAG), Dr. Chuka Onyema, has called on Nigerians to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in the 2027 presidential election.

Onyema made the call on Saturday in Abuja during a press conference and the unveiling of TRAG’s national leadership directory, describing the event as a significant milestone in the organisation’s drive to strengthen its nationwide political structure and grassroots mobilisation.

He said the unveiling marked the formal commencement of the next phase of TRAG’s nationalisation programme, strategic engagement and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to him, the organisation is positioning itself to establish a broad-based structure capable of reaching Nigerians across the country, with its leadership framework extending across the six geopolitical zones, the Federal Capital Territory and all 774 local government areas.

Onyema said the group’s objective was to mobilise citizens at the grassroots and create stronger engagement between the electorate and supporters of the Tinubu-Shettima administration.

He urged Nigerians to join hands with the organisation in supporting what he described as policies and programmes of the administration that are designed to deliver meaningful democratic dividends to citizens.

“Our message is simple: to continue supporting policies and programmes considered beneficial to Nigerians while strengthening partnerships and grassroots engagement,” he said.

The TRAG spokesman explained that the organisation’s expanding structure was aimed at ensuring that its activities were not limited to major cities or political centres but extended to communities and local government areas across the country.

He said effective grassroots mobilisation would remain central to the organisation’s strategy as the country approaches the 2027 presidential election, stressing the importance of responsible leadership, structured engagement and sustained communication with citizens.

Onyema expressed confidence that the unveiling of the national leadership directory would provide the organisational framework required to coordinate TRAG’s activities across the country.

He said the group’s leaders and members had a responsibility to work together to promote its objectives while engaging Nigerians on the achievements and policies of the Tinubu administration.

The National Publicity Secretary also thanked TRAG’s leaders, members and invited guests for their participation and support, describing their commitment as critical to the organisation’s expansion.

He expressed optimism that TRAG’s structures, programmes and grassroots mobilisation efforts would contribute significantly to its goal of securing greater support for President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Onyema said the organisation would continue to strengthen its presence nationwide while promoting what it described as responsible political participation and engagement with citizens.

He reaffirmed TRAG’s commitment to its guiding philosophy: “Strong Structure, Responsible Leadership, Grassroots Impact, Renewed Hope.”

The unveiling of the leadership directory comes as political activities and mobilisation efforts intensify ahead of the 2027 elections, with various support groups and political organisations beginning to expand their structures and grassroots networks across the country.
