Jubilation as the Pupils and teachers abducted from Orire, Oyo State, have been released by their abductors after spending more than 50 days in captivity.
The Presidency announced their release on Friday in a post on X by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Details of the circumstances surrounding their release were not disclosed.
The victims were kidnapped over 50 days ago, and their freedom brings relief to families, the school community, and residents of Orire.
