The event, held under Lafia Diocese, began immediately after 7 a.m. Mass. CWO members, dressed in branded vests, marched through the bypass road to Muhammadu Buhari International Market, chanting songs as they moved to the market’s sports arena. There, they held an aerobics session before returning to the church premises for light refreshments.

CWO President, Mrs. Joy Okosor, said the theme  is ” Love in Action,”stressed that mothers cannot nurture families if they neglect their own wellbeing.

“We pray daily, but we must also move our bodies. Exercise prevents sickness, reduces stress, and gives us strength to serve our homes and the Church,” Okosor said.

Clinical Psychologist and mental health expert, Mr. Godwin Olechenu, spoke on the theme _“Love in Action.”

He charged the women to adopt practical approaches to manage stress and frustration in their homes, noting that such pressures are inevitable in family life.

A panel session anchored by Mrs. Favour Eboatu featured Barr. Mrs. Ann Ike Njoku and Mrs. Blessing Henry. Both urged mothers to exercise patience, steadfastness, and prayer to maintain peace and a healthy atmosphere at home.

They advised women to shun pride, gossip, and disrespect toward their husbands, and to show true love, humility, and care for their children.

Church Council Chairman, Mr. Austin Ukaa, commended the women and urged them to sustain unity and love for the progress of the church and growth in faith.

Highlights of the celebration included a communal meal, love gestures, dance, and entertainment.
