Tinubu Arrives Kaduna Airport for APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Flag-Off

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday arrived at the Kaduna airport ahead of the official flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign for the 2027 general election.

The President arrived in Kaduna alongside First Lady Oluremi Tinubu and was received by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani and other top government officials and APC leaders.

The arrival marks a major milestone in the ruling party’s preparations for the 2027 presidential election, as the APC begins its nationwide mobilisation in support of Tinubu’s re-election bid.

Among the party leaders involved in the preparations are APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, and the Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Council, Abdulaziz Yari.

The campaign flag-off is scheduled to take place at the Kaduna Township Stadium, where APC governors, ministers, members of the National Assembly, party chieftains and supporters from different parts of the country are expected to converge.

The rally is expected to provide the APC with a platform to present its Renewed Hope 2.0 agenda, highlight the achievements of the Tinubu administration and outline its priorities ahead of the 2027 elections.

Security was tightened across Kaduna metropolis ahead of the President’s arrival, with security personnel deployed to strategic locations and major roads leading to the rally venue.

The campaign launch places Kaduna and the North-West at the centre of the APC’s early efforts to consolidate its political support ahead of the next general election.

Tinubu is seeking a second term in office, with the campaign expected to focus on the administration’s economic reforms, infrastructure development, national security and efforts to improve economic opportunities for Nigerians.

The Kaduna flag-off signals the beginning of a crucial phase in the APC’s campaign as political parties intensify preparations for the 2027 presidential contest.
