Lagos State lawmaker and actor, Desmond Elliot, has appealed to the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, for reintegration into the All Progressives Congress (APC) political family in Lagos.
Elliot reportedly knelt and later prostrated before Gbajabiamila while seeking forgiveness and reconciliation following his actions during the party’s last governorship primaries in the state.
He admitted that his judgment was misguided at the time and said he accepted the verdict of the people of Surulere.

The lawmaker also pledged to renew his loyalty to the leadership of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) in Lagos and remain committed to the party’s structure.
Responding, Gbajabiamila granted Elliot an audience and embraced him, signalling a willingness to reconcile with the lawmaker despite the disagreements that characterised the last APC primaries in Lagos.
The meeting is seen as part of efforts to strengthen unity within the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
