The Executive Chairman of Tarka Local Government Area of Benue State, Hon. Yenge Raphael Aondoaseer, has formally acknowledged the resignation of his Chief of Staff, Hon. Raymond Terzungwe Tortiv.
Yenge acknowledged receipt of Tortiv’s resignation letter in a response dated Thursday, September 10, 2026, and made available to FirmNews.
In the letter, the Chairman expressed appreciation to the former Chief of Staff for his service, commitment and contributions to the administration and development of Tarka Local Government Area.
He also commended Tortiv for his continued commitment to the re-election bid of the Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, as well as his concern for the wellbeing of the people.
Yenge said Tortiv’s experience and capacity remained valuable, assuring him that he would be willing to recommend him for future appointments and opportunities where his services might be required.
The Chairman further stressed that the resignation would not affect their relationship, describing their brotherly friendship as “strong and unaffected” by the decision.
He wished Tortiv success and fulfilment in his future endeavours and prayed for God’s continued guidance in the next chapter of his journey.
