The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Gwagwalada Branch, N. D. Abdusalam, Esq., has reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare, professional development and active participation of young lawyers in the affairs of the Branch.
Abdusalam made the commitment when the leadership and members of the Young Lawyers Forum (YLF), led by its Chairman, Boluwaji Peter Oloro, Esq., paid him a courtesy visit at his office, Lawgem LP.
The visit provided an opportunity for the YLF leadership to commend the Branch Chairman for what it described as his inclusive approach to administration and deliberate efforts to integrate young lawyers into the activities and decision-making processes of the Branch.
The forum also used the occasion to raise issues concerning the welfare and professional development of young lawyers, including adequate compensation, intellectual development, career advancement and sustained support for YLF activities.
Responding, Abdusalam thanked the YLF leadership for the initiative and for bringing forward issues affecting the welfare and advancement of young lawyers.
He assured the forum of his continued support for initiatives aimed at promoting the professional growth of young lawyers and ensuring their meaningful participation in the affairs of the Branch.
As a further demonstration of his commitment, the Branch Chairman made a personal donation to the Young Lawyers Forum.
The engagement underscored the importance of constructive dialogue and inclusive leadership in strengthening the welfare and professional advancement of young lawyers within the NBA Gwagwalada Branch.
