The Chakali Charity Initiative (CCI), founded by Chief Emmanuel Ishiaku Lamza (Chokalin Lunguda), has reaffirmed its commitment to community development and empowerment with an ongoing solar streetlight installation project in Ganye, Adamawa State.
The initiative, represented by Hon. Emmanuel JG Gwaske, Principal Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Mobilisation and Coordinator of the Initiative, paid a solidarity visit to the Gangwari of Ganye, where updates on the progress of the solar streetlight project were presented.
The project, according to the initiative, is aimed at improving visibility and safety within the community while promoting sustainable development through the provision of renewable energy infrastructure.
The solar streetlights are expected to illuminate major streets in Ganye, providing residents with improved security and mobility while creating an environment conducive to economic and social activities.
Speaking during the visit, Gwaske underscored the founder’s commitment to touching lives and supporting communities through impactful interventions.
He said every solar light installed represents more than infrastructure, describing the project as a symbol of hope, safety and progress for the people.
The initiative said the project reflects Chief Lamza’s vision of empowering communities and using philanthropy as a tool for sustainable development.
It added that the intervention underscores the importance of collective responsibility in building safer, brighter and more prosperous communities.
The Chakali Charity Initiative reaffirmed its resolve to continue supporting projects that improve the wellbeing of residents and contribute meaningfully to community development.
