Asupport group, Fix PDP, Fix Nigeria, has described former House of Representatives member, Hon. Oladipupo Olatunde Adebutu, as a visionary leader capable of unlocking Ogun State’s economic and developmental potential.
In a statement signed by Segun Adebayo, the group said Ogun State stands at a critical point in its political history, urging residents to embrace leadership that prioritises service, inclusive development and the welfare of the people.
The group noted that Adebutu’s political journey has been defined by resilience, public service and a commitment to improving the lives of ordinary citizens, adding that his experience in the House of Representatives has equipped him with the capacity to govern effectively.
According to the statement, Adebutu’s supporters believe his leadership style is rooted in listening to the people and understanding that the state’s greatest asset is not only its strategic location and industrial base but also the resilience and enterprise of its citizens.
The group said that at a time when many Nigerians are grappling with economic challenges and rising unemployment, Adebutu offers a vision centred on expanding economic opportunities, modernising agriculture, improving infrastructure, strengthening education and ensuring access to quality healthcare.
It argued that his appeal extends beyond partisan politics, saying his supporters view him as a leader capable of restoring public confidence, promoting inclusive governance and creating opportunities across all communities in the state.
The statement further expressed confidence that an Adebutu administration would attract greater investment, empower entrepreneurs, create jobs and position Ogun State as a leading hub for innovation, enterprise and sustainable development.
The group called on the people of Ogun State to support Adebutu’s aspiration, maintaining that the state’s future depends on visionary leadership, unity and a commitment to people-centred governance.
It added that the former lawmaker is seeking not only the mandate to govern but also the trust of the people to build what it described as a more prosperous and inclusive Ogun State.
