The National Women Leader of the Renewed Hope People’s Advocacy (RHPA), Princess Dayo Fasola has said women across the country are being mobilised to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking at the group’s event shortly after her decoration in Abuja on Tuesday, Fasola said the organisation had intensified grassroots mobilisation, describing the Renewed Hope People’s Advocacy as a platform committed to advancing the Tinubu administration’s achievements.
According to her, the group is working to rally Nigerians, particularly women, behind the President’s second-term bid.
“Renewed Hope People’s Advocacy is breaking the shackles of hopelessness and poverty. As you can see, we are more than set for the 2027 general elections to mobilise people for President Tinubu’s re-election,” she said.
Fasola also commended President Tinubu for what she described as his long-standing commitment to women’s inclusion in governance, dating back to his tenure as Governor of Lagos State.
She maintained that women remain a decisive force in Nigeria’s electoral process and would play a significant role in the 2027 elections.
Speaking with journalists, she expressed confidence in the President’s chances of securing another term, arguing that opposition parties were yet to present a coordinated challenge.
“We are strategising and mobilising women nationwide for Asiwaju’s victory in 2027,” she stated.
Also speaking, the National Publicity Secretary and Media Director of the Renewed Hope People’s Advocacy, Prince Adepuji Olatayo Teriba, said the organisation had established structures across the country’s 774 local government areas and wards to mobilise grassroots support for President Tinubu.
He described the group as a grassroots movement dedicated to promoting the policies, programmes and achievements of the Tinubu administration ahead of the 2027 general elections.
