Renewed Hope People Advocacy Mobilises Support for Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election, Urges Opposition to Join APC

The newly appointed Director-General of the Renewed Hope People Advocacy (RHPA), Alhaji Armayau Abubakar, has pledged to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and civic engagement in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking shortly after his appointment and decoration, Abubakar expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him by the leadership of the organisation, promising to lead with integrity, inclusiveness and accountability.

He said the organisation would focus on mobilising Nigerians at the grassroots, promoting good governance, strengthening democratic participation and supporting the policies of the Tinubu administration.

According to him, the RHPA under his leadership will strengthen its structures across the country, empower members, improve communication and deepen engagement with communities through advocacy programmes.

Abubakar called on members, stakeholders, youths, women, traditional and religious leaders as well as volunteers to work together towards building a united, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.

He also pledged loyalty to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and reaffirmed the group’s commitment to democracy, national unity, economic empowerment and sustainable development.

Speaking with journalists after the ceremony, the RHPA Director-General urged opposition politicians to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), arguing that President Tinubu’s achievements had made the ruling party the dominant political force in the country.

According to him, the APC’s control of several state governments, the National Assembly and state assemblies demonstrates widespread public support for the party.

He expressed confidence that President Tinubu would secure re-election in 2027, maintaining that the ruling party remained far ahead of its political opponents.

Also speaking at the event, the National Women Leader of the Renewed Hope People Advocacy, Princess Dayo Fasola declared that women across the country were prepared to mobilise support for President Tinubu’s re-election.

She said the organisation was committed to breaking the shackles of hopelessness and poverty through grassroots advocacy and mobilisation.

Fasola commended President Tinubu for promoting women’s inclusion in governance, recalling his record of creating opportunities for women during his tenure as Governor of Lagos State.

She described women as critical drivers of electoral success and national development, expressing confidence that they would play a decisive role in the 2027 elections.

In her remarks to journalists, Fasola said the opposition had failed to present a coordinated challenge ahead of the polls, insisting that the APC remained firmly positioned for victory.

She disclosed that the organisation had already begun nationwide mobilisation of women in support of President Tinubu’s second-term bid, expressing optimism that the campaign would deliver success at the 2027 general elections.
