Emir of Ilorin Charges New Ansarul Islam Executives to Preserve Founder’s Legacy

The Emir of Ilorin and Life Patron of the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari has charged the newly elected National Executive Council of the society to uphold the ideals and enduring legacy of its founder, Sheikh Muhammad Kamaldeen Al-Adaby.

The monarch gave the charge while receiving the newly elected national executives during a courtesy and familiarization

visit to his palace in Ilorin.

Sulu-Gambari urged the new leadership to remain committed to the propagation of Islam, the promotion of sound moral values, and selfless service to humanity, describing the principles as the bedrock upon which the Ansarul Islam Society was founded.

He emphasised the need for unity, dedication, and exemplary leadership in advancing the society’s mission, while praying for Allah’s guidance, wisdom, and strength for the executives as they assume their responsibilities.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the National President of the society, Alhaji Sarafadeen Alabelewe, expressed appreciation to the Emir for his continuous support, guidance, and prayers.

He assured the royal father that the newly elected leadership would remain faithful to the vision of the founding fathers by promoting Islamic education, fostering peace, and contributing to national development.

The visit was part of the National Executive Council’s post-election engagements with key stakeholders following its emergence at the society’s 51st National Delegates Conference.

The delegation included the National Missioner of the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria, Sheikh Abdulmumini Anafi Ayara; the Third National Vice President, Alhaji Abdulkadir Funsho Abdulkareem; the Registrar of Muhammad Kamaldeen University, Engr. Alhaji Musa Kamaldeen; the National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Gesua Abdulyekini; alongside other national officers and prominent members of the society.
