The Obidient Movement has celebrated the 65th birthday of former Anambra State Governor and presidential candidate, Peter Obi, describing him as a symbol of integrity, competence and selfless service.
In a goodwill message signed by the movement, the self-funded political support group said Obi’s birthday represents more than a personal milestone, noting that it is a celebration of a leader whose values have inspired millions of Nigerians.
“Nigeria celebrates more than a birthday; we celebrate a symbol of integrity, competence, sacrifice and unwavering service,” the group stated.
The movement said Obi’s life at 65 stands as proof that leadership can be anchored on character, accountability and genuine service to the people.
It noted that from his transformational stewardship as Governor of Anambra State to his continued commitment to building a better Nigeria, Obi has inspired many to believe that the country can overcome corruption, division and mediocrity.
According to the group, Obi has remained steadfast in the face of challenges, giving hope to Nigerians during difficult times through his courage, discipline and vision.
It added that his leadership has inspired a movement that transcends politics and reflects the aspirations of a generation determined to reclaim the future of the country.
The Obidient Movement said millions of Nigerians and supporters across the world are celebrating a leader who has consistently demonstrated that competence matters, character counts and the people must always come first.
The group prayed for God to grant Obi good health, strength, wisdom and many more years of impactful service to Nigeria and humanity. It also wished him success in his political aspirations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
