Senator Bwacha Returns Home After Honouring EFCC Invitation

Former Senator representing Taraba South, Emmanuel Bwacha, has returned home 48 hours after voluntarily honouring an invitation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

In a statement issued on Friday and signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Joshua Yohanna Nafinji, the lawmaker’s office said Bwacha was granted administrative bail, which it described as a routine procedure in the course of investigations by law enforcement agencies.

“The general public is hereby informed that Senator Bwacha was granted administrative bail,” the statement read.

The office expressed appreciation to supporters, political associates, family members, and the people of Taraba State and Nigerians at large for their prayers, solidarity, and goodwill during the period.

“There is no cause for alarm,” the statement added, noting that Senator Bwacha “remains committed to the rule of law and will continue to cooperate fully with the appropriate authorities as required.”

It further assured that further updates will be communicated to the public as may be necessary.

Senator Bwacha served as Senator for Taraba South and was also a governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections.

He’s the Governorship Candidate for the People’s Democratic party (PDP) in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
