The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ACCI, has announced the 21st edition of the Abuja International Trade Fair, AITF, with a focus on building business resilience amid economic uncertainty.
The fair is scheduled for September 25 to October 6, 2026* at the ACCI Trade Fair Complex, Airport Road, Abuja, ACCI’s 1st Deputy President and Chairman of the Organising Committee, Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, disclosed Tuesday at a press briefing in Abuja.
Speaking to journalists on Tuesday, Prof. Adesugba said the 2026 edition marks 21 years of ACCI’s flagship event promoting trade, investment, enterprise development, and economic cooperation.
“Over the past two decades, the Abuja International Trade Fair has evolved into one of Nigeria’s foremost multi-sectoral trade and investment platforms, attracting businesses, investors, policymakers, development partners, and exhibitors from across Nigeria, Africa, and beyond,” he said.
Adesugba said the theme reflects current realities of inflation, exchange rate volatility, supply chain disruptions, evolving tax regimes, and rapid technological change.
“The Fair will therefore provide a strategic platform for dialogue, innovation, and collaboration aimed at strengthening business resilience and promoting sustainable economic growth,” he stated.
ACCI Director General, Mr. Agabaidu Jideani, said the fair will bring together manufacturers, entrepreneurs, innovators, government agencies, and diplomatic missions for B2B engagements and investment deals.
He noted ACCI’s four centres will drive the event: BEST Centre for skills development, NCC-DRC for dispute resolution, NPAC for policy advocacy, and Abuja Trade Centre for trade missions.
Jideani urged exhibitors, sponsors, investors, and government agencies to participate, adding that MSMEs will get dedicated support through exhibitions, networking, and market access initiatives.

The Chamber said details on programme structure, expected participation, and unique features of the 2026 edition will be released in phases as planning progresses.
