The Dangote Refinery has increased the ex-depot price of petrol by N75, pushing the new rate to N1,350 per litre. The previous price stood at N1,275 per litre, making this the second adjustment within a short period.
This latest price change marks the refinery’s first increase for the month of May. It comes just one week after a similar upward review, when the price moved from N1,200 to N1,275 per litre.

Records show that on April 29, the refinery also raised its petrol price by N75, continuing a pattern of gradual increases. With three hikes in close succession, attention is now on how the market will respond in the coming days.
